About Hydrogenated Polydodecene
Hydrogenated Polydodecene is a material obtained by adding hydrogen to a homopolymer of dodecene.[1] In cosmetics, it helps formulation ingredients bind together and maintain their form, reduces friction and adds a smooth feel to skin or hair, and reduces tangling and roughness to leave hair smooth and manageable.[2] It is also used to dissolve other raw materials to create uniform formulations and to control formulation viscosity and flow.[2]
