About Hydrogenated Peanut Oil
Hydrogenated Peanut Oil is an ingredient obtained by controlled hydrogenation of peanut oil.[1] Because it mainly consists of fatty components obtained from hydrogenated peanut oil, it mixes better with oils than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the sensation of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on skin or hair and add a smooth feel, create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to adjust the viscosity and flow of formulations.[2]
