About Hydrogenated Panax Ginseng Root Oil
Hydrogenated Panax Ginseng Root Oil is the ingredient obtained by subjecting ginseng oil to a controlled hydrogenation reaction.[1] It is primarily composed of fatty components obtained from the roots of hydrogenated Panax ginseng, so it mixes better with oils than with water. It is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reactions with oxygen, help prevent emulsions of water and oil from separating easily, and attract moisture to the formula and skin surface to help maintain hydration.[2] It is also used to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
