About Hydrogenated Mink Oil
Hydrogenated Mink Oil is an ingredient obtained through the controlled hydrogenation of mink oil.[1] Because it consists mainly of fatty components obtained from hydrogenated mink, it mixes better with oil than water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction and add a smooth feel to skin or hair, and to leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
