About Hydrogenated Menhaden Acid
Hydrogenated Menhaden Acid is an ingredient obtained through the controlled hydrogenation of fatty acids derived from menhaden oil.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
