About Hydrogenated Laneth-20
Hydrogenated Laneth-20 is a polyethylene glycol derivative of hydrogenated lanolin alcohol with an average ethoxylation value of 20.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, help prevent the formula's state and properties from changing easily during storage, and lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
