About Hexyldecyl Oleate
Hexyldecyl Oleate is an ester of Hexyldecanol and Oleic Acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and smooth and refine the skin surface.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
