About Hexanediol Beeswax
Hexanediol Beeswax is a raw material obtained by reacting fatty acids from Beeswax with 1,6-Dihydroxyhexane.[1] Because its primary components are fatty substances derived from Hexanediol Beeswax, it mixes better with oil than water and is suitable for adding slip and a flexible feel to skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to attract moisture to the formulation and skin surface to help maintain a moisturized feel, and to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
