About Hexamidine Paraben
Hexamidine Paraben is the hexamidine salt of 4-hydroxybenzoic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi in products, helping delay deterioration during storage after manufacture.[3] In Europe, when used as a preservative, it is permitted at concentrations up to 0.1%.[2]
