About Grasshopper Oil

Grasshopper Oil is an oil obtained from various grasshopper species belonging to the family Acrididae.[1] Because it is primarily composed of fats obtained from grasshoppers, it mixes better with oils than with water. It is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to the skin or hair while reducing the sensation of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce hair tangling and roughness for smoother grooming, and to leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
