About Glycosyl Trehalose

Glycosyl Trehalose is a substance obtained by forming 1,1-glycosidic bonds with the terminal reducing groups of hydrolyzed starch using glucosyltransferase.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help prevent emulsions of water and oil from separating easily and to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application.[2]
