About Glycereth-3

Glycereth-3 is a polyethylene glycol ether of glycerin with an average ethoxylation value of 3.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth, reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, and create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[1] It is also used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water and to lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[1]
