About Europium/Yttrium Oxide Sulfide
Europium/Yttrium Oxide Sulfide is a raw material obtained by calcining europium oxide, yttrium oxide, and sulfur.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to physically remove deposits from the surface of the skin or teeth, to absorb or reflect ultraviolet radiation and reduce the amount reaching the skin, and to help solid particles or droplets spread evenly rather than clump together.[2] It is also used to leave the skin's surface soft and smooth.[2]
