About Ethylhexyloxyglyceryl Palmitate
Ethylhexyloxyglyceryl Palmitate is an ester in which acid- and alcohol-derived portions are bonded together.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction and add a smooth feel to skin or hair, to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
