About Disodium Tallowamphodiacetate
Disodium Tallowamphodiacetate is an amphoteric compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it last, and reduce tangling and rough feel in hair to leave it feeling smoother.[2] It is also used to help ingredients that are poorly soluble in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
