About Disodium Tallamido Mea-Sulfosuccinate
Disodium Tallamido Mea-Sulfosuccinate is the disodium salt of a substituted ethanolamide half ester of sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it last, and help ingredients that are poorly soluble in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
