About Disodium Stearyl Sulfosuccinate
Disodium Stearyl Sulfosuccinate is the disodium salt of the stearyl alcohol half ester of sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, increase the amount and persistence of foam, help water-insoluble ingredients disperse more evenly in the water phase,[2] and reduce surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
