About Disodium Stearyl Sulfosuccinamate
Disodium Stearyl Sulfosuccinamate is the disodium salt of stearyl amide of sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, increase the amount of foam and help keep it from collapsing easily, and help water-insoluble ingredients disperse more evenly in the water phase.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
