About Disodium Stearamido Mea-Sulfosuccinate
Disodium Stearamido Mea-Sulfosuccinate is the disodium salt of a substituted ethanolamide half-ester of sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help wash sebum and impurities away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it last, and help ingredients that do not dissolve well in water disperse more evenly in the water phase.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
