About Disodium Oleyl Sulfosuccinate
Disodium Oleyl Sulfosuccinate is the disodium salt of the oleyl alcohol half ester of sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it last longer, and help ingredients that do not dissolve readily in water disperse more evenly in the water phase.[2] It is also used to reduce surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and disperse evenly.[2]
