About Disodium Oleyl Phosphate
Disodium Oleyl Phosphate is the disodium salt of a complex mixture of esters of phosphoric acid and oleyl alcohol.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
