About Disodium Nonoxynol-10 Sulfosuccinate
Disodium Nonoxynol-10 Sulfosuccinate is the disodium salt of the half ester of Nonoxynol-10 and sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help wash away sebum and impurities with water, increase the amount of foam and help it last longer, and help ingredients that do not dissolve well in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and disperse evenly.[2]
