About Disodium Lauroamphodipropionate

Disodium Lauroamphodipropionate is an amphoteric organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, and increase the amount and persistence of foam.[2] It is also used to form foam during use, reduce tangling and roughness in hair so it is smooth and conditioned, help water-insoluble ingredients disperse more evenly in the water phase, and reduce surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] [2]
