About Disodium Lauramido Mea-Sulfosuccinate
Disodium Lauramido Mea-Sulfosuccinate is the disodium salt of a substituted ethanolamide half ester of sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it last longer, and create foam during use.[2] It is also used to help ingredients that do not dissolve well in water disperse more evenly in the water phase, leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth, and reduce surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
