About Disodium Isostearoamphodipropionate
Disodium Isostearoamphodipropionate is an amphoteric organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it last longer, and promote foam formation during use.[2] It is also used to reduce tangling and roughness for smoother-looking hair, help ingredients that do not dissolve well in water disperse more evenly in the water phase, and lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
