About Disodium Isostearamido Mipa-Sulfosuccinate
Disodium Isostearamido Mipa-Sulfosuccinate is the disodium salt of a substituted isopropanolamide half ester of sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities be rinsed away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable, and form foam during use.[2] It is also used to help ingredients that do not dissolve readily in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase, leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth, and reduce surface tension so that ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
