About Disodium Isostearamido Mea-Sulfosuccinate
Disodium Isostearamido Mea-Sulfosuccinate is the disodium salt of a substituted ethanolamide half ester of sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, increase the amount of foam and help keep it from collapsing easily, and form foam during use.[2] It is also used to help water-insoluble ingredients disperse more evenly in the water phase, leave the skin surface soft and smooth, and lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
