About Disodium Deceth-6 Sulfosuccinate
Disodium Deceth-6 Sulfosuccinate is the disodium salt of the half ester of ethoxylated decyl alcohol and sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable, and help ingredients that do not dissolve readily in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so that raw materials can wet, mix, and disperse evenly.[2]
