About Disodium Cocoamphocarboxyethylhydroxypropylsulfonate

Disodium Cocoamphocarboxyethylhydroxypropylsulfonate is an amphoteric organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable, and reduce tangling and rough feel for smoother-looking hair.[2] It is also used to help ingredients that are poorly soluble in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase, leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth, and lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and disperse evenly.[2]
