About Disodium C12-15 Pareth Sulfosuccinate
Disodium C12-15 Pareth Sulfosuccinate is the disodium salt of ethoxylated, partially esterified sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable, and help ingredients that do not dissolve easily in water disperse more evenly in the water phase.[2] It is also used to leave the skin surface soft and smooth and to reduce surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and disperse evenly.[2]
