About Disodium C12-15 Alketh Sulfosuccinate
Disodium C12-15 Alketh Sulfosuccinate is the disodium salt of ethoxylated and partially esterified sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly; increase the amount of foam and help it resist collapsing; and help water-insoluble ingredients disperse more evenly in the water phase.[2] It is also used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water.[2]
