Dimethyl Oxazolidine is a heterocyclic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms in products and delay deterioration during storage.[4] In Korea, it may be used in finished cosmetic products at up to 0.05%, and the product pH must be above 6.[2] In Europe, it may be used as a preservative at up to 0.1%, and the product pH must be above 6.[3]
