About Dimethyl Lauramine Dimer Dilinoleate
Dimethyl Lauramine Dimer Dilinoleate is a salt of dimethyl lauramine and dilinoleic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, reduce hair tangling and rough feel for smoother hair, and leave the skin surface soft and smooth.[3] In Europe, it is permitted at up to 2.5% in leave-on products, with no separate maximum concentration specified for rinse-off products. Nitrosamines must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
