Dimethicone PEG-8 Meadowfoamate is a partial ester of fatty acids obtained from meadowfoam seed oil and PEG-8 dimethicone.[1] The number 8 indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; within the same base structure, changing this number may also change water miscibility and the formula's viscosity and spreadability.
