Dimethicone PEG-7 Isostearate is a partial ester of PEG-7 Dimethicone and Isostearic Acid.[1] The number 7 in the name indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; within the same base structure, changing this number may also change water miscibility and the formulation's viscosity and spreadability.
