About Diisoamyl Sebacate
Diisoamyl Sebacate is an ester in which portions derived from an acid and an alcohol are bonded together.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to suppress the formation of unwanted foam during manufacturing or use, to reduce friction and add a smooth feel to the skin or hair, and to smooth hair by reducing tangling and roughness.[1] It is also used to add flexibility so that films or polymer layers do not become excessively hard, to leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth, and to help protect the skin from external factors.[1] It is used to dissolve other raw materials and create a uniform formula.[1]
