About Dihydroxyethyl Tallowamine Oleate
Dihydroxyethyl Tallowamine Oleate is a salt of dihydroxyethyl tallowamine and oleic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, to reduce tangling and roughness in hair for soft, smooth manageability, and to leave the skin surface soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so that raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
