Diglycereth-7 Malate is a diester of Glycereth-7 and malic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help formula ingredients bind together and maintain their form, to keep emulsions of water and oil from separating easily, and to draw moisture into the formula and skin's surface to help maintain hydration.[2] It is also used to condition the skin's surface, leaving it soft and smooth.[2]
