About Diethylene Glycol/Hydrogenated Dimer Dilinoleic Acid Copolymer

Diethylene Glycol/Hydrogenated Dimer Dilinoleic Acid Copolymer is a copolymer of diethylene glycol and hydrogenated dimer dilinoleic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth, reduce tangling and rough feel in the hair to help condition it, and lower friction on the skin or hair to add a smooth feel.[1] It is also used to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application, prevent emulsions of water and oil from separating easily, and create emulsion formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[1]
