About Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate
Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate is an organic compound containing hydroxyl groups.[1] Its structure absorbs specific wavelengths of ultraviolet radiation and converts them into other energy, and it is used within permitted product types and concentrations to reduce the amount of ultraviolet radiation reaching the skin. In cosmetics, it is used to absorb or reflect ultraviolet radiation and reduce the amount reaching the skin.[3] In Europe, it is permitted up to a maximum of 10% when used as a UV filter.[2]
