About Dicyclohexyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate
Dicyclohexyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate is the sodium salt of the diester of cyclohexyl alcohol and sulfosuccinic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable, and help ingredients that do not dissolve readily in water disperse more evenly in the water phase.[2] It is also used to reduce surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2].
