Diazolidinyl Urea is a substituted heterocyclic urea.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms in products and delay deterioration during storage.[4] In Korea, it may be used in finished cosmetic products at up to 0.5%.[2] In Europe, when used as a preservative, it is permitted at up to 0.5%.[3]
