Dextrin Behenate is an ester of dextrin and behenic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help powder ingredients flow evenly without forming lumps, to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
