About Cupressus Sempervirens Oil
Cupressus Sempervirens Oil is a volatile oil obtained from the whole cypress plant.[1] Volatile components obtained from the entire cypress plant contribute to the initial impression of the fragrance and the lingering scent after application, and tend to evaporate more readily than ordinary vegetable oils. In cosmetics, it is used to prevent the ingredient’s characteristic odor or taste from becoming too prominent.[3] In Europe, only ingredients with a peroxide value below 10 mmol/L may be used.[2]
