About Crosslinked Bacillus/Glucose/Sodium Glutamate Ferment

Crosslinked Bacillus/Glucose/Sodium Glutamate Ferment is a crosslinked ingredient made by fermenting glucose and sodium glutamate with microorganisms, followed by irradiation.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help keep emulsions of water and oil from separating, hold a desired hairstyle in place, and attract moisture to the formula and skin surface to help maintain hydration.[2] It is also used to condition the skin surface, leaving it soft and smooth, and to adjust the viscosity and flow of the formula.[2]
