About Cottonseed Glyceride
Cottonseed Glyceride is a monoglyceride derived from cottonseed oil.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair while adding a smooth feel, to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to leave the skin surface soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so that raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
