About Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Oat Protein
Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Oat Protein is the condensation product of coconut acid chloride and hydrolyzed oat protein.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, reduce hair tangling and rough feel to leave hair smooth, and leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
