About Cocobutyramido Hydroxysultaine
Cocobutyramido Hydroxysultaine is an organic compound containing hydroxyl groups.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water; to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed; and to increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable.[1] It is also used to dissolve other raw materials and create a uniform formula, to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to control the viscosity and flow of the formula.[1]
