About Coco/Sunfloweramidopropyl Betaine
Coco/Sunfloweramidopropyl Betaine is a zwitterion.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and increase the amount of foam and help keep it from collapsing easily.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to adjust the viscosity and flow of the formula.[2]
