About Coco-Hydroxysultaine

Coco-Hydroxysultaine is a zwitterion (inner salt).[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help sebum and impurities wash away with water, and increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable. It is also used to reduce tangling and a rough feel in hair, to leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth, and to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] It is used to adjust the viscosity and flow of formulations.[2] [2]
